About Me
Garrett Sutton, Esq., is the author of "Own Your Own Corporation", "The ABC’s of Getting Out of Debt", "The ABC’s of Writing Winning Business Plans" and "How to Buy and Sell a Business" in Robert Kiyosaki’s Rich Dad’s Advisors series. He also co-authored “Real Estate Advantages” with Sharon Lechter as part of the Rich Dad series. Garrett is an attorney with over twenty-five years experience in assisting individuals and business to determine their appropriate corporate structure, limit their liability, protect their assets and advance their financial, personal and credit success goals. Garrett and his law firm, Sutton Law Center, have offices in Reno, Nevada, Jackson Hole, Wyoming and Sacramento, California. The firm represents hundreds of corporations, limited liability companies, limited partnerships and individuals in their real estate and business-related law matters, including incorporations, contracts, trademarks, and ongoing business-related legal advice. The firm accepts new clients. Garrett attended Colorado College and the University of California at Berkeley, where he received a B.S. in Business Administration in 1975. He graduated with a J.D. in 1978 from Hastings College of Law, the University of California’s law school in San Francisco. He has appeared in the Wall Street Journal and other publications. Garrett is a member of the State Bar of Nevada, the State Bar of California, and the American Bar Association. Garrett enjoys speaking with entrepreneurs and real estate investors on the advantages of forming business entities. He is a frequent lecturer for small business groups as well as the Rich Dad’s Advisors series. Garrett serves on the boards of the American Baseball Foundation, located in Birmingham, Alabama, and the Reno, Nevada based Sierra Kids Foundation.
