Online Editor

Resource Nation is looking for an online editor to manage all online content across multiple properties including Business.com. This position requires great organizational skills, as you will be managing multiple writers in-house and guest bloggers.

In addition to managing content, the candidate will have SEO experience and knowledgeable in link building strategies. He/she will manage keyword productivity and be able to analyze monthly reports tying revenue to SEO efforts.

Responsibilities:

  • Writing content for major publishing sites such as Website Magazine, Start Up Nation and Ladies Who Launch
  • Manage team of writers (in-house and off site) for all online properties. Including blog posts and web page content.
  • Analyze keyword reports and be able to suggest changes/opportunities to be made for link building
  • Reaching out to other online properties to guest post
  • Be able to maintain and get more domains for link building purposes
  • Manage Newsletter content
  • Manage Internship program
  • Manage and analyze social media campaigns

Qualifications:

  • 4-year college degree and 3+ years experience
  • Proficient in writing for the web

SEM Analyst

Resource Nation is looking for a SEM Analyst to expand and manage its exposure in the major search engines. This role will involve supporting the SEM division in any facet necessary and will report directly to the V.P. of SEM.

Responsibilities:

  • Reporting and ad hoc analysis of PPC campaign performance
  • Adcopy creation for ppc campaigns
  • Keyword research

Customer Care Representative

Sales/Customer Service position that will spend the majority of his/her time consulting with Resource Nation customers, determining their business needs, and matching them with the most appropriate business vendors. The position will not include any cold calling but is outbound phone call heavy so a high energy level and positive attitude is a must. Candidate will learn to consult new and growing businesses by identifying their needs and offering the best solutions. Position is also responsible for follow up calls to gather feedback and offer additional assistance.  Candidate will use the feedback to create reports that analyze customer satisfaction and highlight opportunities. Full and part time work is available M-F.

This is a great opportunity to get a foot in the door at a rapidly growing company while gaining valuable sales, marketing, and customer service experience. 

Responsibilities:

  • Initial phone call to verify and offer support to all requests.

Business.com Strategic Account Executive (New York)

The Strategic Account Executive (SAE) will be responsible for generating, developing, closing and managing all sales opportunities within the assigned territory. As a SAE, your primary focus will be on the top 1000 B2B companies and their advertising agencies. Your responsibilities are to understand your customers’ marketing goals and make recommendations regarding Business.com’s integrated online marketing programs that include search, display and audience extension.

Responsibilities

  • Hit or exceed quarterly and annual sales goals and contribute towards team goals
  • Identify and establish relationships with all Client Directs and Agencies within category
  • Qualify and prioritize opportunities through customer needs analysis
  • Conduct face-to-face presentations when necessary

MARKETING INTERNSHIPS

Editorial Coordinator

This internship program provides valuable insight to the fundamentals of corporate operations with a nationwide online marketing company located in Solana Beach. With this 12-week program, interns will gain exposure to various elements of business and have one-on-one meetings with company executives in one or more areas including sales, marketing, customer service, finance, human resources, and the CEO. 

Interns will assist the marketing team and focus heavily on content writing for company website, partner sites, blogs, and other social media efforts.  - PR and marketing skills a plus. Additional assignments include:

  • Write company newsletters, and customer service requests.
  • Conduct key research for online marketing opportunities.
  • Identify online channels for promoting company, and new verticals for expansion.
  • Follow up with customers for feedback and suggestions.

Qualifications:

  • Efficient and professional writing skills. Skills will be tested in the interview process.
  • Effective time management skills and an ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Strong interpersonal communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written paying close attention to detail.
  • The ability to communicate effectively with all levels on the organization.
  • Proactive, self-directed and highly driven.
  • Positive attitude including mature demeanor and strong work ethic.

Hours are flexible and up to 20 a week. Positions are for credit-only with an objective to gain industry knowledge and valuable experience.
