Position Summary:
We are looking for a Director of Affiliate Marketing to expand and manage our growing network of affiliates / partners. The role will involve strategic planning, recruitment and management of affiliates. Resource Nation has been growing exponentially on a monthly basis and we are seeking a fast paced, team-oriented, partner focused, and highly organized individual who can help take the company to the next level. This is a key position for the company and will report directly into the President. The company is headquartered in Solana Beach, CA. (San Diego)
Responsibilities:
• Recruit and manage major affiliates
• Evaluate, set up and manage affiliate networks when applicable
• Work with in-house designer to create new ads
• Create and implement strategies to continue rapid growth
• Calculate and demonstrate ROI of services
• Communicate regularly with affiliates
• Provide accurate forecasting
• Participate as a member of the team for the overall good of the company
Qualifications:
• Ideal candidate will have pre-established relationships with major B2B websites
• Must have at least 3+ years experience recruiting and managing affiliates
• This job is NOT an affiliate network only job. Candidate must be able to contact large prospective partners directly to establish relationships.
• Experience with Commission Junction, Linkshare, or Performics a plus

SALES REPRESENTATIVE – Inside sales
Overview:
Resource Nation provides online and offline resources to help plan, start, and grow a business. One of the services offered is a free consultative service called Start Me Up (SMU) that helps walk an aspiring entrepreneur through the process of launching their business. The program includes access to a dedicated consultant, a customized startup schedule, weekly articles, tutorials, and advice tailored to their business, assistance selecting the best vendors, and support setting up a legal entity, insurance, marketing, and more. The company is headquartered in Solana Beach.
Job Description:
This position is a tremendous opportunity for someone with 1-5 years experience who is looking to gain a lot of business experience in a short period of time. This is a business start-up sales/consultant position with additional duties supporting the sales team. The person will spend the majority of his/her time talking with entrepreneurs about their businesses and/or business ideas and creating customized road maps based on our proprietary systems. This person will also be required to follow up with leads that are entered into our system and match those leads with the most appropriate vendors.
This job is aimed at a well-spoken, energetic person, who has a desire to get their foot in the door of a growing company. The opportunities for professional growth at Resource Nation are abundant, as we are growing very rapidly. This is an entry-level position for a team player; we want someone to assume this role, understand where we’re heading as a company and grow the SMU program. We want someone who is excited to help entrepreneurs launch their businesses and who enjoys talking with people.
Responsibilities:
• Initial phone consultation and qualification for enrollment. Heavy phone activity from hot leads; very little cold calling.
• Understand which stage of the launch process they are in and where they can best be helped.
• Create customized launch schedules per SMU guidelines.
• Ensure entrepreneurs get the proper resources and help that have been assigned to them.
• Follow up with entrepreneurs on a regular basis until they have completed the program.
• Match entrepreneurs and business owners with qualified vendors throughout the process.
• E-mail newsletters and resources to entrepreneurs.
• Participate in regular marketing activities to grow SMU program.
• Support sales team by matching leads to proper vendors.
Desired Qualifications:
• Prefer a Bachelor’s in Business, Marketing, Finance, or related. MBA in entrepreneurship a huge plus.
• Prefer 1-3 years experience in sales and/or customer service.
• Outbound phone sales experience is highly desired.
• Successful candidate will have a general understanding of the business start-up cycle!! – Business Plan, Financing, Legal Entities, Business Insurance, etc.
• Must be able to engage a conversation with entrepreneurs and business owners about any business in any industry.
• Articulate and well-spoken. Be able to simplify complex processes.

CUSTOMER SERVICE AGENT
Job Description:
The Customer Service Agent will spend the majority of his/her time talking with Resource Nation leads/customers. As leads come into our system, the Agent will call the lead to verify the info submitted, clarify exactly what services they are looking for, and then match the lead with the most appropriate vendors based on the information received.
Responsibilities:
• Initial phone call to verify all leads.
• Talk with business owners, determine their needs, and match them with the most appropriate vendors.
• Follow up with businesses to get feedback and up sell new categories
• Organize and manage special vendor skill sets
• Ensure lead information is transferred properly to assigned databases.
• Investigate miss-entered information and attempt to correct
• Communicate with sales team to understand vendor needs and requirements.
• Communicate with marketing department to outline trends and new business opportunities.
• Participate as a member of the team for the overall good of the company
Desired Qualifications:
• Articulate and well-spoken.

Responsibilities:
Assist the marketing team with the implementation of online and offline marketing activities. This role offers a great opportunity to gain valuable marketing experience.
• Identify online channels for promoting the company’s services
• Research and identify new verticals for expansion
